Do you Remember the purpose of your SMARTS?

Do you Remember the purpose of your SMARTS?

The most important part of May is at the end when we remember those who fought for us, and whose sacrifices ensured our freedom. Our veterans, the fallen and their families, and today’s military men and women deserve our respect and thanks. Without them, the world would not be as safe as it is today.

Memorial day also reminds us of our obligation as regular citizens; to be hardworking and productive. Freedom is not free, and it should not be wasted on the pursuit of nothing. Hedonism does not grow the economy. While it is true that our country’s biggest ideals center on pursuing happiness, sustainable happiness comes from doing something meaningful and important.

At LiquidSMARTS we want to remind everyone that a purposeful life is the most rewarding one. Doing the right things, and doing work diligently and efficiently is a contribution any able-bodied person can make, and that contribution is important. Salespeople and marketers should remember that their roles serve the company, and all of its employees and suppliers employees. The role does not exist solely to pursue and achieve a number or sales goal. Success in driving transactions sustains the families of many people and enables their pursuit of happiness. Business owners also should remember the big ripple effect of their success, and the positive consequences that come from that.

This month, remember those who fought and died for our freedom. Honor their memory by doing the best we can to contribute to our roles. It is our obligation to do as much as we can with the time we have.
