From time to time, you may find yourself in a negotiation or some other conflict situation, and it’s not always easy to know what to do. One of the quick tips you can use to try and make sure your outcomes are better is to actually have an outcome in mind.

The purpose for you is to get resolution, but you’ve got to define what two or three resolution points might look like. This doesn’t take a lot of planning. It just takes a little bit of focus, and to be realistic about it.
